I never deal with the first onset of true summer heat very gracefully, and Cincinnati is about as far south as I have ever lived. I've officially had my seasonal "I have nothing to wear, I must burn all of my clothes" freak-out (it simply isn't true!). Naturally, I've turned to polyvore for some new styling ideas.
Conclusion: A bright clutch could really help improve my wardrobe disposition. What items are reaching for now that the heat is on?

Calculated Copper
Whether it's a faux pas or not, I love wearing black and brown together! Having such dark hair and pale skin, it works for my complexion, but it also often happens by default because I'm likely to choose black and brown over colors when I have the option. A couple of these pieces are definitely something to aspire to, but I think I could whip up a budget version of this outfit in my closet now! This has been another slapdash installment of styling with vintage!

Bowling date!
This chilly weather has me totally re-thinking my life decisions! Just kidding. It's not all that dramatic, but I'm definitely re-thinking my weekend activities post-clock setback. Since moving to Cincinnati I've spent a fair amount of Saturday mornings perusing Findlay Market and wandering the historic Over The Rhine district's charming shops, but I see more indoor activities in my near future. I'm thinking movies, the Krohn conservatory, and ... yes... bowling. What are your favorite cold weather passtimes?
