outtakes: a photoshoot by Molly Burkett

Recently Molly Burkett stopped by the shop to shoot a few photos and have a little fun.  Molly's the kind of daring redhead that can pull off that sweet buzzed-on-the-sides haircut and girly pink nailpolish simultaneously.  It's baffling to me, as I am the least edgy person in the whole world.  She also happens to be a wizard with a camera.  Check out the original post on her blog, but first enjoy these outtakes from her photo shoot.

Ready?  Go!

our hand-hewn sign

outside rack, to beckon you in.  This shot reminds me of Suspiria, that colorful old horror flick from the 70s.  Seen it?

hello, ladies.  what lovely things you are wearing today.

hats.  there are even more now.

It's always a treat for me to see the shop through the eyes of someone who hasn't been staring at it for 8 to ten hours a day.  I think Molly really captured the slightly chaotic yet harmonious energy that seems to buzz throughout the place.  Now seriously, go check out her blog

PS,  Molly is to thank for my great new banner/profile photo.  Thanks, Molly!
